Silicone Elastomer Gel

Features:

① High molecular weight crosslinked silicone elastomer in cyclopentasiloxane.

How to use:

 ❶Disperse the oil phase into the WD-1040 silicone elastomer mixture using simple mixing. There is no need for post-shearing. It may be added to the oil phase or silicone phase in an emulsion formulation. It is recommended to homogenize the oil phase thoroughly before Emulsification or add the oil or silicone phase of an emulsion into the elastomer slowly.

❷For ease of use, its viscosity may be reduced by blending with dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Phenyl Silicone oil, fatty acid esters, hydrocarbons, etc.

❸The formulation can be thickened by cold process, and its operation should be done at Temperature below 60°C.

The typical usage lever of WD-1040 is from 1% to 20%(w/w), or it’s depended on the final formulation.
