What’s the effect of doping concentration of polystyrene on the properties of light diffusion films?

Figure 3-9 (a) shows the variation of the transmittance of the light diffusion film with the doping concentration. Figure 3-9 (b) shows that the haze varies with the doping concentration. From 1 wt% to 7 wt%, the haze value of the doped cylindrical lens light diffusion film increased from 30.30% to 47.03%, increased by 16.73%, and the transmittance increased from 93.10% to 95.68%. For the microlens light diffusion film, the haze increased slightly from 80.06% to 83.47%, and the transmittance remained basically stable.

The transmittance of the doped diffusion film increases to a certain extent compared with the PET substrate. The change of polystyrene concentration from 1 wt% to 7 wt% has little effect on the transmittance. For the light diffusion films embossed on different surfaces, the haze increases to different degrees. The haze of the diffusion film of the cylindrical lens array increases rapidly, while that of the microlens array increases slowly.
